Story Boards

I have created a story board for my music video. I will be using this as a guideline when I am filming my music video. The majority of my notes are stated within my story board

Opening scene
This scene is just where Bemi and Lewis walk past each other on the street, and Bemi thinks he looks a little bit familiar, 'are you sure we haven't met before' (linking the lyrics to the visuals, which follows Andrew Godwin's theory of linking the lyrics to the visuals). However it turns out not to be Lewis however just a random boy. (the revelation of the different boy will appear at the end of the video)

This is where the flash back begins. Where Bemi and Lewis are happy and in love.

In these single shots, Bemi is lip syncing, (performance based part, requested by my target audience). She will be in white clothes to connote her innocence in her past relationship, however now shes heart broken. The storyline in these shots, link with the lyrics. E.g. 'A lot of S*** has changed' 'You said you were different, but your the same... Stranger.'

These shots still follow on the story of Bemi lip syncing, as explained previously.

Following on, the happy love scenes in the past of Bemi and Lewis's relationship, now these shots and scenes reveal where Bemi and Lewis encounter problems in their relationship.

Similarly said above, Bemi and Lewis constantly argue and their relationship is down turning. There is no lip syncing, this relies heavily on the performance based aspect in my music video

These returns back to the solo scenes with Bemi, where she expresses her emotions, by lip syncing. (connection with the lyrics and the visuals)

Then again the shots reverse back to the happy times of Bemi and Lewis in their relationship. It then returns to the parallel narrative. Which where it returns to the opening scene where Bemi and Lewis meet each other again.

The notion of the song title 'stranger', can be applied to these shots. Where Lewis's face fades in/out to Joshua's face. This is done because Bemi believed she was seeing her ex boyfriend (Lewis) however it was just a a stranger in the end.
